Commercial Finance Manager
Job purpose and key deliverables
We are currently recruiting a strong Commercial Finance Manager who excels in providing commercial insights and financial management and has a successful track record of partnering with business units and project teams to translate strategies into plans.
This role will drive, manage and coordinate the provision of structured and insightful analysis of financial and non-financial data to influence and enable strategic financial decisions
Accordingly, the role will need to coordinate with global, regional and local stakeholders and collaborate to ensure plans are localised for the Australian business requirements in accordance with the overall strategic objective.
Provision of high quality financial information and advice to the business
Identifies, implements and reviews effective internal financial planning processes and controls
Sharing insightful financial analysis and providing ﬁnancial implications of decisions and helping business units and project teams get approval for commercially viable business cases, budgets and investment proposals
Build strong financial and commercial awareness and challenge business to improve performance
Contributes to strategy formulation through the provision of high quality evidenced based analysis, decision making and advice to the project team
Pro-active leadership team member
Degree educated with professional qualification (CA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA/MBA)
8 years PQE ideally in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment
Influencing, leadership and interpersonal skills
Strategic analysis & planning and execution, performance metrics, project evaluation, commercial acumen,
Simplifying complex situations, synthesise, communicate and present complex information
Insightful, comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty, pro-active, collaborative and consultative
