Operations Development Internship

is part of

, focused on developing and delivering high quality nicotine alternatives to adult smokers in the key areas of Vapour and Tobacco Heating Products.

The jobholder will be required to support the Project Management of the Integration Activities as well as the Strategic Projects that are led by the Operations Development Manager.
The Operations Development Manager leads projects and activities that would ultimately help streamline the end-to-end Supply Chain by (1) improving its capabilities via acquisitions, (2) leveraging its scale via its external partners and (3) managing the inherent risks via appropriate mitigation plans.
This role will be the driving engine behind each of the projects feeding into the Operations Development Manager by:
Ensuring a well-governed and adequate project management approach
Driving to completion actions and activities pertaining to each project
Engaging with relevant stakeholders for alignment and approval and
Prioritising to successfully deliver all projects.
Communicating to relevant stakeholders and teams the outcomes, actions and critical information
Skills & Experience
Experience in Project Management and working with teams
Proficiency using Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint and Excel mainly)
People engagement skills
Key Success Factors
Ability to deliver on (tight) timelines on-time and in-full
Ability to build working relationships leading to effective and efficient engagements
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written format

NGP community (Operations, R&D and Marketing)
BAT Operations when relevant (Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Supply Network Operations or Procurement)

Base salary from £20 000 per year
25 days annual leave pro rata
