An exciting opportunity has become available for a Commercial Engagement Manager based at British American Tobacco Australia’s (BATA) head office in Woolloomooloo.
About the Role:
As part of our Legal and External Affairs function, you will be a conduit between BATA, government agencies, and industry associations and drive commercial engagement through the collation of information, analysis and the development of advocacy in support of BATA’s commercial initiatives, including illicit tobacco measurement and excise matters.
You will lead the development, co-ordination and submission of succinct and impactful submissions (and associated engagement materials) to relevant government agencies and external parties as required.
You will manage the illicit tobacco reporting process and the production of high quality information and insights to support engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
You will undertake direct engagement with external stakeholders with regards to BATA’s commercial interests. External stakeholders include government, bureaucrats, associations, customers & retailers.
You will need to be able to work in a matrix organisation, with varying reporting lines and accountability, whilst ensuring that your direct manager is kept informed and specific team outcomes are achieved.
