Job purpose and key deliverables
British American Tobacco is looking for a
Join us and provide continuous, coordinated, comprehensive and business-integrated security support services to BAT!
Develop, manage, execute and continuously review security policies and procedure with associated action plans covering business and security risk management, crisis management, information security, supply chain security, and asset & personnel protection (as per Control Navigator)
Assist in the deployment of crisis management plans. Prepare and support CM plans falling under the direct responsibility of the Security Manager i.e. evacuation, malicious product contamination, extortion and kidnap & ransom plans.
Contribute to the business risk management processes and procedures.
Provide timely advice on the operating environment and manage incidents and breaches of security in cooperation within senior management.
Regularly brief the Leadership Team on security matters.
Develop capacity for the effective deployment of security resources to meet the identified higher risks.
Support the implementation of information security procedures in accordance with the Group Information Security Standard.
Provide a Loss Report and specific security incident reports periodically as required.
Benchmark security policies and processes against other companies.
Effectively manage security resources and budgets including contracts, service providers and manned guarding
Conduct security threat/risk assessments, deploy mitigating security measures, and maintain the Business Security Assessment Review.
Maintain effective liaison with relevant external stakeholders especially law enforcement agencies/ intelligence organizations and other government agencies, security professionals from embassies and international companies.
Develop and implement proactive intelligence gathering aiming to identify routes of illicit trade (including a process for information gathering via sales forces and, where appropriate, service providers).
Initiate and co-ordinate enforcement actions, (raids, seizures, destruction etc) in consultation with law enforcement bodies, Regional and end-market Anty Illicit Trade Managers.
Ability to maintain high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Excellent planning, coordination, and reporting skills, with the ability to organise substantial workload comprising complex, diverse tasks and responsibilities.
Solid organisational skills: the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure in a fast-paced team environment.
Comprehensive knowledge and experience of security management acquired in the corporate / commercial sector.
Strong leadership, management and delegation skills. Sound judgment, decision making, analytical and organisational skills.
Competent in both Polish and English;
Experience of dealing with information and intelligence, interpreting threats and risks and management of investigations.
Expertise in managing intelligence collection and exploitation.
