GTR Demand Planner (3rd Party Distribution)
Job purpose and key deliverables
British American Tobacco currently have a great new opportunity for a Demand Planner (3rd Party Distribution), to be based in our Southampton office on a permanent basis.
The Demand Planner (3rd Party Distribution) will be responsible for all Logistics Execution and Re-packing activities for product supplied via Distribution Centre in Netherlands.
Working closely with NPI (New Product Introduction), Master data, Demand Planners, Supply Chain Execution, Demand Forecasting, Quality and DSV.
Co-ordinator of activities for re-packing, from NPI brief to production: align master data, forecasts, purchase orders, stocks and customer order for predecessor and successor changes.
Find innovative solutions to improve ways of working ensuring continuity of supply and reducing write offs.
Support cross functional, supply chain projects including changes to portfolio and exhaustion of finished goods and related WMS.
Provide cohesive updates to relevant departments of goods inbound to the warehouse and repack schedule status.
Manage all stock movements for inventory in Distribution Centre in Netherlands on behalf of Demand team
Achievement of principal accountabilities.
Completion of timely and accurate supply chain.
Establish and maintain supply chain network of contacts across source factories in respect of daily operational activities.
Our Global Travel Retail (GTR) business unit is responsible for managing and distributing British American Tobacco brands to global travel retail channels, in particular duty free airport retailers in Americas, Western Europe, Asia Pacific and EEMEA Regions. Awareness and understanding of demand and inventory processes.
Understanding of production planning in a factory environment (Primary supply chain)
Good resource, time management and accuracy skills
Ability to work under pressure to achieve strict deadlines
Good numerical reasoning and analytical thinker
Adaptable, persuasive and proactive
Good SAP and Excel knowledge and high systems proficiency
Knowledge of warehouse operations is highly desirable
