SNO Finance Development Manager (FTC - 9 months)
Job purpose and key deliverables
BAT is currently looking for a Finance Development Manager to join our Supply Network Operations (SNO) Finance Business Partnership team.
The role is a 9-month temporary position and would primarily be based in Southampton, but could accommodate +/- 2 days a week in Globe House, London.
The initiatives that this role would be responsible to deliver are listed below, however the scope will be flexible if the business need changes.
1. Inventory balance sheet reporting;
Drive the BPC team to develop financial balance sheet reporting to allow SNO to take Global Ownership of Business as Usual (BAU) Inventory.
2. Systemise Non-Criminal Loses (NLC) Reporting
NPI write off - engage with CP&A, Marketing Finance and EM’s to utilise standard SAP functionality to improve efficiency, control and visibility of NPI related w/o to enable improved cost avoidance.
BAU write off – develop standardised list of system codes to facilitate efficient route cause analysis, identify loss reduction opportunities and generate efficient reporting.
Develop SNO Approach to NCL.
Extend the WECT write off process Globally.
3. Sourcing standardisation
Develop standardisation sourcing optimisation review template to facilitate above regional financial Sourcing approach.
4. Logistics cost reporting and Loss Analysis
Embed and enforce Green Book definitions to ensure compliance to Global Logistics reporting requirements
Widen and integrate current Loss Analysis process to extend across Inbound/MAKE/Outbound /Secondary.
Develop global training approach.
Strong financial experience, including experience in a Supply Chain Finance environment (Finance, Stock and Sales transactional environment).
Detailed working experience of the SAP - Strong IT skills (required to be capable in working on Accounting software (preferably SAP Financial Modules), Advanced MS Excel).
Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA).
Excel skills should be of a high standard
Quality and process focused individual (attention to detail)
Strong commercial acumen
The ability to work well in a high-pressure environment & the ability to manage complex deliverables against aggressive timelines
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
The ability to work with all levels of staff within the company and build working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to change and to take initiative
